LIME part III

The reunion with the fam continues... UHHMM, uhh, gosh man! My family is the best! So lucky that they're around. Last Saturday I decided to take them to L!me to experience this lively lounge on Castro. As for ya'll know this is my third time blogging about L!me. You just have to deal with it... Oops! What I meant was, you have to go there, its a must when youre in the city. Everyone enjoyed the food, the vibe, the music, AND the aaaaalcohol. After brunch we head over to South Park and from there my wild self got loose from the monkey bars to the swing i morphed into a maniac. Who knows what that champagne does to you?!! Then later on we head over to downtown, union square and had MELT gelato ice cream. Bonding time is Family time! :)

Treats for Freaks

So in the beginning of my spring semester, my professor mentioned that we will be having a major project [Latexhibition]?! Yep...rubber project indeed. In this case it was supposed to be a group project, but i've decided to just do it on my own just cause its a hassle to meet up with groups and with my time... my time is precious. HAHA. lol! Well, it took a lot of guts for me to ask for condoms my bf suggested to go to the health center since they give out condoms for free. So I went and had to lie about my age, they didnt give me a lot so i had to do another round and came back in a couple of hours and this time i had my little cousin get it for me. She had to lie about her age too because she's thirteen. Anyway, not a good sample am i to ask a little girl for condoms. So after that i had to come up with an idea to what kind of figure i should make, i thought of making a purse, a hat, shoes, & etc.. But turns out i decided to make a flower vase. However, when i finished it didnt turn out to be a flower vase more like a candy treat. And so i came to this title; "Treats for Freaks."

Would You Like A Cup of Tea?

Bonding Time!
twas' a beautiful friday... and to me and my bro going out to the city on a sunny day is perfect day to walk around. After walking a couple blocks, we decided to get something to bite that's light, just cause were having dinner in a couple of hours. So we head to Samovar it's a tea lounge on the Yerba Buena Gardens,Mission & 4th street. This place is such a relaxing spot to chill, definitely gonna come back and bring the bf. Anyway, bonding with the bro is always fun...;)

What an a ugly gloomy day it was yesterday...
thank god the sunshine came to spare a short moment for me to wear this sweater dress, thanks to this wow-inspiring fashion icon...she got me wearing this dress that i've been having and not yet worn, best part is this dress was $10..bargain it is!

One Happy Camper

Getting in touch with nature is absolutely a breath taking experience. Last weekend the family head over to Felton to go camping and boy was it fun!!! The last time we went camping was probably more than six years ago. The scenery at the campground we stayed was beautiful...

We stayed in Henry Cowell State Park, it's about an hour and 20 min from the city.

The cousins decided to hike one of the trails and it took us about an hour or so...I've never hiked in the redwoods before, as of matter of fact i've never hiked in my whole entire life, but it was definitely an experience to remember.

After the hike, i sure need to sit my behind down under my umbrella..eh..eh...eh!!!


I can't wait for summer to arrive so i can go camping with much warmer weather ;)

Meet Isaiah

Had one of the best ice cream in sf MITCHELLS, on my hand is a tropical four that my friend ruchell introduced way back...thanks for the recommendation ;) Came there with the cousins, after having a yummy lunch with the grown-ups..meaning our pops and mums at Lucky River on Ocean...definitely one of the best/least expensive chinese restaurant...Ahem* they practically know the whole Santiago clan over there...or maybe just uncle victor hahhaa!

Isaiah seemed to be enjoying himself too, well of course with the coolest auntie..hahaha!

Betsey Johnson for Target?

So i heard....Betsey Johnson will be doing a collaboration with either "Target 0r H&M" this fall, just like many designers have done so, but this time around we have to think pink just cause it's Betsey Johnson. I'm guessing this would be at H&M, the irritating part about collabos' in H&M is falling in line and seriously people tend to get craazy, i've witnessed it...not fun! But what makes me wonder is how come when Target is doing a collabo, there's not much frantic people, no lines, no commotion whatsoever...i mean the Alexander McQueen is still up for grabs, but i don't see people going gaga over them...Hmmm wonder why? I mean Target is awesome and sometimes the material is way better than H&M. 

Midnight Ruby

I was afraid that my hair would turn to such an ugly brassy color, so i had to rescue them before i turn to be a carrot top. I don't remember the last time i did my own coloring, since i've been a faithful customer at Cinta in downtown sf. But now that i can't really afford to have it done, i trusted my loving mother to do my hair (she did a GREAT job by the way) with a little bit of my bossiness..here and there...making sure she covers everything evenly. Another reason for me to not visit my colorist is because she's expecting a baby, which i believe will be due soon and so she's in maternity leave. Anyway that's the story and i'm just diggin' this color right now...

Lily Allen

Truly excited for her upcoming concert on April 4 at the Warfield in s.f. and my date would be no one else but yours truly miss concert queen appzolootchaos.blogspot.com!!! This is our second attempt purchasing Lily Allen's concert tix, the last time was cancelled due to her contract..yada yada yada...not done so correctly/not legit yada yada yada!!! We are crossing our fingers that hopefully this time around everything is gonna be okay.

Malou Review

I love Malou Nubla! her job is absolutely the best, a mobile Concierge of the Bay Area. Anything that you need to know about the bay, she covers!!! from restaurants, where to shop, where to live and best bites of the town, activities and whole lot more...

After being a concierge for 5 years in downtown sf, i've picked up alot of good places where to go. That's also with the help of my fellow co-workers who's been in the business for many years. I enjoyed assisting guest when it comes to picking the best place to dine in around the city. The best part of being a concierge is when you recommend a resto and you make reservations for the guest, in return most resto gives a complimentary dinner *sweet*!!! & of course your guest comes back with a big smile on their face...for an excellent recommendations. I think i've used most of my complimentary dinners on dates and some with the fam. Another best thing also is having a complimentary tours around the city. e.g. Wine Country Tour, City Tour, Helicopter Tour & etc!!!

ohhhh!!! and the most bestest part of being a concierge is the commission of course & the experience ;)

rolled up & braided

Since I'm in the verge of being low on my moola...i can't afford to purchase such outfits. So digging to my closet, i have found these jeans that seems to represent the boyfriend cut that many celebs have been sporting and i love em'...love em' more that i don't have to buy a pair. The cool thing about this outfit is that it can be worn with anything. 

Milkmaid braids are so fun...i'm glad i can french braid my own freakin' hair. Having such a long hair can get irritating at times, i try to manage it by having a ponytail or braiding it. But i love how the olsen twins, nicole richie and lauren conrad have their milkmaid braids hairdo.

LIME part II

After experiencing Lime, i just need to come back for more and this time we had more company, which made the whole experience more fun! Everything about this place is awesome.

The last time i went to lime we saw a group of people taking shots and we were sort of hesitant to take it, just because it was early in the morn and we didn't know exactly what was in it. Anyway, this time we just have to go for it and try out this famous shot. So it includes espresso shots, kahlua, and some other stuff (i forgot) and of course vodka.
