Last week's prediction of supposedly "Indian Summer" in SF is going to be triple digits, which I was excited for because sunny days seems to brighten many Frisco peeps! It was a LIE! It was all about fog and gloomy mornings all week. Aaarrgghh...about a 15 minute drive from Frisco is where the sun is...how unfair!

Despite the gloominess of our unpredictable weather here, I find this Threadless shirt to somehow fit on how I feel about the clouds that's blocking the sun. Anyway...

Happy Thursday...weekend is here again!

Roqchample

These were taken about five months ago to help a friend build up her portfolio. Although, I selected some of the random shots that I thought were fun and OHh so serious faces. We definitely enjoyed the whole preparation for this day, full of laughter and yess...we were clowning on each other on how we pose, not professionals but amateurs only! Since it was spring time, I suggested florals and fun colorful eye makeup. Another suggestion was crimping our hair, this was the longest part of getting ready. One good thing about having huge hair, I guess is that it's easy to manage and a quick fix to such styling. I was inspired by the April issue of ViVi Magazine from Japan and so bits of helpful tips for styling made our wardrobe springggyy.

EMMY'S

Best Dressed: Heidi Klum

Her custom dress from MARCHESA was beautifully made to show her mommy figure. I find her very elegant with this dress and ohh the lace is such a nice touch as well as the color it's very sliming. Klum who is due to pop out in October still strut the runway fabulously!

As far as others, no one really stood out to me but Heidi, perhaps Olivia Wilde's dress was almost a winner, but the zipper in the back killed it!

I really felt like I was a kid again and playing at my childhood park "South Park" brought all the good memories. Seeing the monkey bars that I used to hang and swing to, made me think of all the blisters I used to get on the palm of my hands.

A food festival was held on a beautiful sunny saturday at South Park and it was called the "A Taste of South Beach & Mission Bay"site

it's their second annual and glad I was able to go and taste the local restaurants in the SoMa district. One of my favorite was Farmerbrown's "Little Skillet" it's definitely a winner, the chicken is crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. Also the taco's from Tres Agaves was spicy and fresh, a few resto that was around were Momo's, District, Bacar, Hennesy's, 21st Amendment, Brickhouse cafe, Paragon and Oneil's. Here we were able to taste these fine restos for a great deal without costing an arm & a leg.

overdue

A long overdue get together has finally taken place last night, me & the gals have been planning for months and most of the time we have to reschedule.

So a tuesday night it is!!! We headed out to this fairly new resto in the city, which opened about 9 months ago and it seems to be doing pretty well. The ambiance and decor of this little gem is very unique, as if it feels like I'm not in my home city. They also offer outdoor sitting, perfectly suitable for large groups. The place is not that huge, dining area sits 38 people, it's absolutely great for parties with friends on special occasions. They also gave us ladies complimentary sherry as our dessert wine... Gitane is a must visit if you stumble upon our beautiful city SF.

We ended the night with good food in our stomach and some good conversation.

-their restroom is hidden behind their fancy walls (hard to find) so you should ask! It's also a must visit to see (very cute) but it is co-ed...not sure why?!

Greek Theater

Another field trip with the bf and this time to see the legend for the third time and he never fails to give an outstanding performance. We love him and for some reason most of his songs brings back the good ole' memories of our relationship and through this day. One of our fave is "So High, Stay With You & Ordinary People." The concert was taken place at the Greek Theater in Berkeley and so bringing in a seat cushion & a blanket is a must for it is outdoors. The good thing about this venue is that you can enjoy the weather and good music at the same time. The lawn area is where we sat last time, but this time we sat inside the pit area, you can never go wrong where to sit because the scenery is beautiful.

We had a quick bite near the venue and this philly cheesesteak lasted through out the night. It was definitely a beautiful sunday and the crowd was amazing too. By the way he had special guest: India Arie & Estelle that tops of this coolio concert! lol!

Main Street

Took a stroll on Main Street yesterday located in the heart of downtown Tiburon. It's funny how the weather is so different here compared to downtown SF that was foggy and chilly. The sun was out and maybe a ten degree difference after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. 

Their downtown area reminded me of a small village, somewhat similar to Beauty and Beast.."little town it's a quiet village, everyday like the one before...little town full of little people waking up to say..bonjour, bonjour, bonjour" ahhh...ok enough of that, but you get the picture..right? 

We had lunch at Sam's Anchor sat out in the deck and had an amazing view of the yachts that were owned my millionaires, rubbed shoulders with them kind of...lol! great food & drinks...perfect for brunch!

Over the weekend a music & arts festival was held in the beautiful Golden Gate Park. To top of this colorful event the weather participated and gave SF weather a sun shiny day. I've been hooked on Twitter since more & more of my friends have joined and I guess I could say being nosy to millions of celebrity tweets! Thought it would be clever to take a pic with this wooden bird made of cardboards and throw up a T sign for twitter not thizz! lol!

by the way Twitter is from the BAY...hahha whattuupp!

Along with this festival was of course joined by many well known bands around the world. But me & the gang of course rocked out to the tune of Jason Mraz & Black Eyed Peas. AMAZING performances indeed!!! It's my first time seeing BEP and yess they're absolutely great live and they made the crowd jump around "party everyday...party everyday" wooohooo!!!

So after having 2 1/2 month vacation from school, I was thinking of how my daily routine would be...now that school begins tomorrow, creating a pie chart that I copied from one of my daily blog reads here...made me wanna create my own!

Tis' the new Seasons'

brrr...it's almost septemberrr!

Ok, so two of my favorite series are these two shows based on my favorite city NEW YORK! and their seasons are coming soon this september...so watch out for all the drama and their wardrobe!

On September 14 the new season of Gossip Girl will be airing...also the day before watch out for the Gossip Girl wardrobe inspired to hit Target and it's by a famous designer Anna Sui.

What got me so bummed is that Erin won't be part of The City anymore...

she was so fresh, down with everything and loved her style!

Well as long as Whit is in town and getting down in the Meatpacking for DVF

Lately, I've been eyeing on some vintage 80's cut off shorts...and been wanting to purchase but the prices on those cut offs' are way off my budget...so unfair. So last weekend, I penciled in my to do list: Project Cut OFF!

I sorta' regret giving away my old jeans that I gave away two weeks ago! darn it I had some good collections of them designer denims that I bought way back. But then again, it's going to be in good use for those in need.

GOOD thing I didn't give away my wide leg Joe's that I know for sure you won't catch me wearing anymore, so it had to be cut off.

Ok..now you might think that I've wasted a good pair of Joe jeans...no worries cause i got these from crossroads 

with an amazing price!

I was actually planning to do it on my Sevens but not yet...they cost me more ;)
