Morning shoutOUT... yay! it's thursday!

aahhh! as a student this fourth day of the week is indeed a "friday's eve" to take a break from all the stress...some may call it a "thirst-day" lol! happy hour time per se.

Meet my BFF...

anyway

as i lay on my bed at this very moment, i was just thinking how much i watch

TV (television)

• right when i wake up
• when i'm eating (breakfast/lunch/merienda/dinner)
• when i'm surfing the net/posting blogs/facebook/myspace/twitter
• in the shower (even if there's no TV in my bathroom)
• studying (of course it's on MUTE)
• putting make up on 
• sleeping (set on sleep for 60 min)
  

i can definitely go on and on..with this list, but you can probably see my daily routine

revolves around the TV being ON at all times.

i just love hearing the sound of what's on TV

it makes it homie for me, i guess it's like how my brother has to have his radio ON 

all the time.

my parent's always tells me to turn my TV OFF [most of the time] because they can see that i'm not even watching, perhaps i was doing some of the stuff i've listed.

e.g. TV is ON but obviously keeping myself busy by taking photos ;p 

just like what i used to say..."girls gotta do what girls gotta do"

Nightlife

the first time i visited academy of science was during day time and now or so i've heard that it's having "nightlife" with cocktails ;) FUN!

i surely enjoyed the nightlife more because there's absolutely NO kids running around [21 & up only]...trust ME i don't hate kids, but too many of them is just too many of them!!! 

 and of course the drinks are a plus and the crowd is very diverse.

Lola's [Gucci]

From what i recall in old photos of my lola [grandma: in Filipino] she had a purse on her that was hanging on her right wrist. About a month ago, for some weird reason i was thinking of what kind of purse she was holding...i named a few to my auntie and well what do you know 'voila' it was her vintage Gucci. Well i kindly asked my auntie if i can sport it for awhile, since lola is in the Philippines she won't be needing her old [vintage] aahhemm purse! So, without my lola's consent my auntie kindly let me borrow it. But then again weird feeling came stumbling or should i say anxious...i want the purse! aahhh! as soon as i got home with my lola's purse, i called her long distance to ask if i can YEP have it! i felt bad cause she was taking a nap and i woke her up, but she was happy to hear my voice lol! ...."yea, go take it" she made my day!

Bucket of Fire...

okay! so, i've been holding out on my spring break getaway last April in Monterey...i can't find the memory stick of my camera..sucksss! but i found a pic that i really miss about this place. We ate at this seafood resto Fish Hopper for dinner and yesss... the following morning TOO! cause it was just so damn good! The highlight was our cocktail drink...bucket of fire!

This sure made our day craaazzzy!

well of course the scenery too was very romantic ;)

thursday is the weekend eve per se!

to start this early weekend, we went over to Pacific Catch on 9th Ave [fresh seafood & salad with a hint of asian fusion cuisine-NICE!]

when we arrived, i was craving for some poke for some reason..so i ordered the hawaiian poke salad, i can say its one of the best salad i've had ;) 

i was absolutely hungry!!! luckily, the service was fast! it took about 15 min..., but during the time being, i was sort of losing patience....aaarghhh! hungry...feed me!

GETTIN' RIPPED... 

i'm addicted! for some weird reason, i feel that ripped jeans are classic...who ever invented or even started the trend is awesome! They go great with any outfit [e.g. for everyday, casual, even for dress up!-really though...] I actually noticed that most of my jeans have some sort of ripped personalities in them, it's either above the knees or below and at the bottom where i drag

them if it's a little long.

so, besides rippin my jeans...i've been eyeing on these well cut fashion tops that mainly focuses on the beauty of your belly. Really though?! they are HOT! [tryin' real hard to meet that goal of having a flat stomach] NOTICE the white top on the right, it's just lovely, mann..i can absolutely make a replica of that..all i need is time and a trip to JoAnns or Beverlys LOL! and the black top is super clean simple and beautiful.

summer is just around the corner and i've been looking for a swimwear, somewhat similar to these photos...one shoulder definitely leaves a major statement!!! NO DOUBT ;)

MetalMouth's Day Out

So, metal forces combined. It magnetized us and brought us to North Beach, in other words, Little Italy. Me and Yanks had brunch at Calzones, we thought of having brunch outdoors where they have these cute tables that faces the street along with a heater to keep us warm. :) Lunch was great! 

After lunch we head over to Caffe Trieste for some caffe mocha bianca & cioccolato fantastico. loves it! New spot to chill. We even met a famous poet! Who knows what his name was? But this place hosts events and i guess poetry nights. 

Love my outings with Yanks! 

SPORK

Everytime i dine around the mission in sf, i always pass by this bright, vibrant sign SPORK..and was always curious if their any good?! As a yelper..there were good reviews about this place and so the bf and i decided to dine. WHY Spork? well KFC was actually the one that introduced America to this spoon/fork utensil. So this resto is basically using this namesake, for their american style of fast food, however, this place is aiming for the slow food. Why slow food? well to enjoy their dishes and to create this interesting idea of not rushing to eat a good plate. 

Sad part of our dinner was that i was visited by unexpected cold, which made my taste bud disappear. I was only able to taste our appetizer-and being able to taste appetizer shows if the place is any good, well as it turned out their poke was fantastic and their bread too!

CRAWDADDY/PINKBERRY NIGHT

Went on a journey to Story Road in San Jose for some CRAWDADDY...

This place was off the hook! good crawfish and shrimp ;) would definitely go back soon!

Unfortunately, i wasn't able to take a photo of our food...it's because i was too hungry and seriously my hands were soaked into the sauce of the crawfish and shrimp. It was a messy messy... messy... dinner and sweaty to others as well...meaning...they were soo freakin' spicy and so other's were sweating continuously!!! i didn't want ya'll to see that!

Then off for some dessert... PINKBERRY at Santana Row! The yogurt here is quite different compare to the other yogurt spots i've been to. Has anyone tasted YAKULT before? the taste are very similar...brings back my yakult days..LOL!

 

GOING GREEN

Walkinginto Westfield shopping center's restroom near the foodcourt today, i've noticed how they are "GOING GREEN". Yep! they are now using a  hand drier and paper towels are now history! Well it's not an ordinary hand drier, it's sophisticated with a sleek style. Ohhh..yes they are so powerful.

Filipino's in the Outfield

Sad to say i'm not a big fan of any sport...snowboarding is probably the only sport i enjoy. But anyway SF was trying to be cute with the weather for the past 3 days...it was way too hot and lovin' the cuteness ;) It was a perfect night too to watch the GIANTS play in the outfield..they won baby! yay! even though i wasn't sure what happened most of the game. We got good seats and was pretty darn close to the field, being close to the field made me realized that the field is not that big. 

It felt like one of those "hot summer nights"

CAKE:

i've never noticed this before but i love cake! i remember way back that i was craving for a chocolate cake and so joe & i went on a hunt..fyi- it was late night and so basically most bakeshops were closed. Good thing that the safeway near us were open, really though... their cakes are really good and so as costco cakes-good buys for cheap cakes!

anyway, today i craved for some...i really really really, no...really l.o.v.e. cake + cupcakes! so i decided to bake a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese whipped on top.

EGG:

a couple of days ago when i happened to walk down the stairs at my grandma's house at south park, i saw an egg on the neighbors' doorstep...i was like "is that real" and believe it or not, the mother pigeon made a nest for her egg to be indoors...really?! they fly inside to the doorstep from time to time to check on their egg....now that's l.o.v.e! 

i've never encountered anything like this, it's really amazing how pigeons these days are becoming very modern...it's a like a condo for them..for FREEE! oh by the way..don't ask why there's a dorito chip next to the nest..."modern" keep that in mind...hahhahaha lol! i'm kidding...but yea..i find it really cute ;)

CREPE:

have you ever had a crepe? i mean a real french crepe? no japantown or asian crepes? well i'm such a big fan of crepes..their one of the best desserts that is definitely gooood! i love how the crepes atCAFE GRILLADESin Bayhill is so tasty and the wrapper is soft and fresh. I really don't like how the Sophie ones in j-town are shaped in a cone and the wrapper is crunchy like a fortune cookie...not exciting, well that's just my opinion and of course what i prefer for my crepe.

SCENT:

i finally used apps giftcard from sephora and purchased a perfume. YAY! i was looking for my dior addict, which i ran out of already and so a new bottle would be handy. But they didn't have it at the counter, so i did a little smelling testing and after a spray here and there, i found this scent that is sweet and not overwhelming smell Hanae Mori so far, so good!
